This Carpenter knife comes in a handmade wooden gift box including a sharpening stone. The knife has a forged carbon steel, curly birch handle and a handmade leather sheath.

Product description

The Carpenter knife our take on the ultimate multi tool, a universal knife with a convenient size here with a gift box made entirely of wood and with at tarred lacing — which not only gives your present a rustic feeling, but also the distinctive scent of an outdoor fire. This box also includes a sharpening tool.

The design of this knife is based on traditional whittling knives, made for getting work done, no fuss. This is the knife for both the workshop and the woods, and the delicate blade has made it a popular all-round hunting companion, as it lends itself well to both large and small game.

The blade is made from forged carbon steel and the handle is cut from curly birch, coated with linseed oil – which ensure a firm grip, even when wet.

Comes with handcrafted sheath of light vegetable tanned Finnish leather.

  • Hunting & Carpenter knife!

    Both knives have character, one with a blade that is super sharp and "lives" just like the birch handle itself; here you can see the work of a blacksmith, the effort and the time, that's just great. As great as the new CPM steels are, a carbon blade with 60 HRC is simply better (I maintain all my knives anyway) and nothing happens with a bit of oil.

Beautiful, comfortable, light as a feather, has a very good edge geometry and factory sharpness, and keeps that edge for a long-long time. High-quality carbon steel, Finnish curly birch and Finnish natural tanned leather form the basis of all our products. Our locally produced, organic and ethical leather comes from free animals and has been vegetable tanned where only organic material is used instead of destructive chemicals.
