This exceptional hardness also means the blade should be used as a precision cutting tool. UHC steel performs best with controlled, gliding cuts. Avoid twisting the blade or striking bone and other very hard materials to protect the fine edge.
The handle is crafted from stained Finnish curly birch and treated with linseed oil for a comfortable and secure grip, even in demanding outdoor conditions. A 925 sterling silver ferrule adds a refined handcrafted detail that complements the natural grain of the wood and gives this version of the Bear claw knife its distinctive premium character.
Each Bear claw knife silver ferrule, UHC is crafted, sharpened and finished by hand in Harmoinen, Finland. It comes with a handcrafted sheath made from dark, vegetable-tanned Finnish leather, featuring a metal spring that helps keep the knife securely in place while carrying it.
