My name is Magnus and I am 45 years old. I live in Norrköping close to a fantastic and varied nature. My job as a music producer is a fun and creative profession, but often with a high tempo and stress. Time out in the woods and the wilderness, whether it is a short walk or a longer trip with an overnight stay – is my way of finding balance and gathering strength to meet everyday life.
Do not limit your challenges, challenge your limitations.
On my travel bucket list there is a lot left to check off, but high up is a lonely hike in Sarek as it is a fantastic place in our beautiful country I have not yet had the opportunity to experience.
My only item I would take to a desert island is of course a knife.
If I had to choose to do anything for a day, I would be alone in the woods, without any musts or deadlines. Lying on a reindeer fur in front of a fire and listening to nature while I wait for the coffee to be ready.
For as long as I can remember, I have enjoyed nature and been driven by a curiosity and joy to discover. With a mother who was a scout leader and a father who spent all his time in the woods and out in the countryside, I grew up outdoors and it has given me a sense of belonging and security with nature. I try to get out into the woods and wilderness on various activities as often as I can, alone or in the company of family or friends. When I'm out, I usually make a fire and make coffee and just enjoy the peace and quiet. Otherwise, I like to camp, cook in the woods, paddle and hike.
