Product description

This is Roselli's Finnish handmade outdoor axe in a practical size with a short handle, which you can easily take with you everywhere.

Our axes always keep their promises and are considered by many to be the perfect companion and tool when you go out into the wilderness. Roselli's axes are strong, have an extreme sharpness and can be used for felling, pruning and timbering. They are also outstanding tools for wood splitting and tensioning, as the axes' wide blade protect them from getting stuck when chopping.

Comes with a simplistic, light vegetable tanned Finnish leather case to protect the edge and a practical loop which enables carrying in a belt or attaching to a backpack. The handle is made from birch and coated with linseed oil to ensure a firm grip, even when wet.

  • Hunting & Carpenter knife!

    Both knives have character, one with a blade that is super sharp and "lives" just like the birch handle itself; here you can see the work of a blacksmith, the effort and the time, that's just great. As great as the new CPM steels are, a carbon blade with 60 HRC is simply better (I maintain all my knives anyway) and nothing happens with a bit of oil.

    The Carpenter is the best small bushcraft knife I ever had. Beautiful, comfortable, light as a feather, has a very good edge geometry and factory sharpness, and keeps that edge for a long-long time. And when it's time to strop, it takes no time to get that scary edge back. My other purchase was the Hunter. The handle is a bit too big for my hand, but I love the bladeshape very much. Our products are made from the finest natural materials and raw materials that follow the highest ethical standards. High-quality carbon steel, Finnish curly birch and Finnish natural tanned leather form the basis of all our products. Our locally produced, organic and ethical leather comes from free animals and has been vegetable tanned where only organic material is used instead of destructive chemicals.
