This handmade Finnish hunting knife and outdoor knife is a shorter version of our classic Hunting knife – and is extremely popular due to its manageable size that makes it easy to carry everywhere.
This knife is for a hunter who likes a knife with more control. The slightly curved and short blade makes it easy to use your finger over the tip when fitting game.Â
The blade is made from UHC steel (Ultra High Carbon) and the handle is heat treated curly birch, coated with linseed oil – which ensure a firm grip, even when wet. The UHC steel gives you an extremely sharp knife that keeps its sharpness for a very long time – keep in mind that the hard UHC steel is not suitable for penetrating bones or other hard materials. Comes with a handcrafted sheath of dark vegetable tanned Finnish leather.

No shortcuts are taken – we make everything by hand, from fantastic local natural materials, using old blacksmithing techniques, in a local workshop in Harmoinen Finland. Here, everything is manufactured in much smaller quantities, which ensures that we can minimize our waste and footprint on the environment.

Our products are made from the finest natural materials and raw materials that follow the highest ethical standards. High-quality carbon steel, Finnish curly birch and Finnish natural tanned leather form the basis of all our products. Our locally produced, organic and ethical leather comes from free animals and has been vegetable tanned where only organic material is used instead of destructive chemicals.
