Can you engrave knives and axes?

Of course! It doesn’t cost anything to engrave your Roselli. We offer free engraving on all our knives and axes, to make your Roselli one of a kind and a personal item for life. Customizing a knife or axe is perfect for gifting.

If you want to engrave and customize your Roselli, you simply write your engraving in the box, before adding the product to your cart. See picture below. Take notice! We engrave the blade, not the wooden handles.

Every engraving is handmade

Every engraving is handmade and the tool that is used is a small diamond drill. “It’s odd because I have terrible handwriting on paper, it’s unreadable. But when engraving I have a precise and steady hand. We’ve made a lot of jokes about it.”

The history of engraving can be traced as far back as the Roman times, and is a technique which requires a great deal of skill and patience. It takes a lot of practice and a steady hand to engrave your Roselli.

What should I engrave on a knife?

When you’ve decided to engrave your Roselli comes the hardest part. What should you engrave? The most usual requests we receive are names but also a date or a year, to mark a special someone or event in life. You can also engrave a short phrase or something else of meaning to you.
